I fully agree with the statement of inquiry, showing how creative you are shows you and other how you tackle problems, if it's in a traditional simplistic manner or a manner which no-one ever thought of. When you go through the creative process with someone one-on-one it is clear to see how the other person thinks, organises themselves and what they do and don't like.

Now, can creativity be transferable?

In my opinion it can be transferred but not fully, it is possible to think more creatively around people who inspire you to think differently, but each person has their own way of thinking and sometimes that can't be fully changed. People have their own personalities which they should maintain. This could be linked to something else as well, cars for example, you could take a Land Rover Series I, II, IIa or III and try and make it track ready but that wouldn't be the personality which it naturally has, you could add some small details but changing the whole thing from the ground up would ruin it. It's the same way with people, it's doesn't matter who they are, they have their own individual personality that shouldn't be messed with to much.

How does an author actually make a story transformative?

The author usually does this through the changes in a characters personality. This is evidenced by short stories such as 'Through the Tunnel' where Jerry starts as a child and then throughout the story as he practices to go through the tunnel he matures and grows up. When he then succeeds and goes through the tunnel, he has proven to himself that he is now mature and grown up. This shows how the personality changes throughout the story and thus makes it transformative.

How do I collaborate?

In my opinion I don’t fit in one of the above-mentioned groups perfectly but instead I believe myself to be a mix between a dinosaur and a skeptic. The reason I believe this to be the case is that I often enjoy doing work the old fashioned way (which does not necessarily mean by hand) but I am open to new ways of doing things if they will benefit the project. However, I am also not a very vocal opponent to collaboration and still want to get work done. This is why I believe myself to be a mix of a dinosaur and a skeptic and don’t fully fit into any of the mentioned groups.
